Iowa was always chock full of survivor cars. Nice. Love the old green cass county plate. Lee county native here. Love seeing the old GM diesels being saved. I hope you keep it.
Hey Kyle, I actually "owned" this car for a summer before It was once again given back to Kevin. I drove it for a summer as a field checking car and gravel cruiser. It's awesome to see this car back running again. I hope you have been enjoying it, should definitely keep making videos on it
A great car had an 81 buick century with a 267 4.4 litre small block same hubcaps just burgundy in and out no hot rod by any means but for a V8 was good on gas
@@kylescarfarm Chevrolet 267 4.4 litre small V8 just a destroked 5.0 305 the 229 3.8 litre V6 was the smaller version of the 267 they were popular in Canada they were made from 1979 until 1982 when the corporate 305 LG4 took over in most models
My parents had one of these when I was a kid (gas version). Mom had always wanted a Buick Century, since her dad had one when she was a kid. Big mistake. She despised that car so much that she never bought a GM product again. Its only redeeming feature, she says, was that the seats were very comfy.
I plan on group 27 or 65 batts in the Burned Olds.... heads up. Olds v8 must have ALL brackets perfect and you have to use ac belt or bets squeak and slip especially the PS while parking. Seems JYD had issues w/ that IIRC or was that the gas ols c10? IDK
This car is awesome ! And the dog is pretty cute too !
Somehow I never saw this until now😂
I SEE the dam belts STILL SQUEAK
😅 I fought that same issue too! Made it better but that water pump pulley is so bent!

Iowa definitely has a lot of survivor cars hiding in barns! Thanks for watching my channel!
I see they fixed the window that wouldn't go up. Such a cutie it is a lower model so rare to see one Diesel. Enjoy.
Kevin and his dad replaced the broken window
I had a 1982 Buick Lesabre diesel. I do believe they upgraded the 5.7 diesel in 1982. After I did change the head bolts out, that car drove for years…
Love that sound

That explains all the dust inside! Glad you got some use out of it!
Oh man I remember this, cool!
I love it. Looks so pretty in black with all that stainless and chrome trim. Good luck with it!

I'm not familiar with that engine. Was that a Pontiac built V8?

Hey I remember seeing this on their channel. Cool that YT randomly recommended it to me.
Nice interesting to see this Buick in your hands now awesome can’t wait to see more content
Just posted a new video today & another one is in the works!
The editor deserves a raise.
🐶🐶🐶🤣🤣🤣
This was the car that I found the JYD channel with ... and now it's the car I found your channel with. Always been into diesel cars. Very cool.
I stand corrected. RUclips says I have played some of your Cadillac Deville Diesel vids in the past sometime.
Great video

Yes indeed the seats are comfy!!
I bet she really punished the engine hard in the morning by revving the daylights out of it for minutes
Do you happen to be in Classic GM FWD Society? Saw that 1987(?) Toronado.
Yes that's one of my favorite groups! It's a 1990 Toronado
Man I wanted this car! Did you just ask Kevin if he would sell it? Man I love this car. Do you still have it?
I bought it from a mutual friend of Kevin's. I sold it March 24 to another Olds Diesel enthusiast here in Iowa
Nice 👍
Back when most everything came from GMAD.
Is thar the same car .....that group of guys and. That girl brought back to life
@junkyarddigs
You don't see these old centuries.

Yes Kevin fought the belt squeak on this car. I installed shorter alternator & PS belts & it seems to be fine now.
I see twin turbos in the future?😅
Gotta save one for the Cadillac!
You got that right!
One turbo will do. Intercooling it will help the motor.
Another fun cruiser! Run it on waste oil?
That's the plan!
👍🏿😎
Are you gonna bulletproof it
Not unless it breaks
@@kylescarfarm
💁Why not do it before it breaks
Be honest... it was just the batteries.
